Dance Minor

Students may be admitted to the minor after completing 6 units in dance. Minors wishing to take major-level technique courses and/or perform must pass the Minor Technique Screening.

Students may consult with the Undergraduate Dance Advisor regarding ways by which requirements can be grouped into an area of focus. For example, an introductory dance performance set might include DANC 113, DANC 115 , and DANC 117 ; a set related to Africana Studies might include DANC 106 , DANC 109 , and DANC 342 ; a humanities track might include DANC 342 , DANC 435 and DANC 442 .

Requirements

20 units of which 6 must be upper division.
