Whether you want to read Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, or Chekhov in the original, to learn a critical language and work in diplomacy or international affairs, to use the language to travel in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Georgia or Central Asia, to land a job in the arts, science, technology, or journalism, or to work in mineral resource trade, learning Russian will be an asset to you.
