Introduction

The German Program at CSULB wants to help students achieve their goals-whatever they may be. We offer a wide range of German-language courses, starting with GERM 101A for absolute beginners. We also offer courses in German cinema, German thought, German literature, and German culture. We can also help students study abroad in the German-speaking world. Indeed, we enthusiastically encourage study abroad. Because our program is relatively small but very active, we gladly offer students personalized mentoring. Our students have gone on to become teachers, scholars, entrepreneurs, event planners, activists, expats, and more. Regardless of why you want to learn German, we want to help you on that path.
