L/ST 320 - Intersectionality in Education

Prerequisite(s): GE Foundation requirements
Introduction to intersectionality theories and research in educational contexts. Examination of intersectional identities (ability, disability, gender and sexuality, race, ethnicity, class, language, etc.) and structures of oppression in and out of education. Strategies for effecting social change in educational and other contexts.
