Prerequisites: GE Foundation requirements, one Exploration course, and upper division standing. Advanced interdisciplinary work focusing on critical concepts and research methods in the contemporary analysis of culture. Topics include: culture, symbol, identity, power, hybrid / hybridity, networks, globalization, place, discourse, performative/performativity, representation, etc.
