PHYS 545 - Advanced Experimental Methods in Material Science (3 units)
Prerequisites: PHYS 254 ; PHYS 350 or consent of instructor. Modern physical measurement techniques including scanning probe microscopy, pulsed nuclear magnetic resonance, optical photolithography, and Arduino micro controller. Measurements of relaxation times, nano-structure surface analysis, electrical characterization of thin films. Resistor circuit design, sensors, convolution, auto-and cross-correlation and FFT.
