Prerequisite: Graduate student in Music or consent of instructor. Advanced scoring techniques used with big band arranging and orchestrating for studio/pops orchestra. Includes ranges and capabilities of instruments and scoring for traditional and contemporary instrumentation. Requires the composition of a major work to be recorded by CSULB Studio Orchestra.
Letter grade only (A-F). May be repeated to a maximum of 6 units in different semesters.
