MAE 481 - Spacecraft Systems

Prerequisite: MAE 381 with a grade of “C” or better.
Systems engineering approach to spacecraft design. Spacecraft systems engineering and spacecraft and power subsystem. Radiative and conductive heat transfer. Thermal control subsystem. Telecommunications. Command and data handling. Team projects including spacecraft subsystem design are assigned.

Letter grade only (A-F). Written reports and oral presentations are required. (Lecture-Problems 3 hours)
