Prerequisite: MAE 334 with a grade of “C” or better. Compressible flows. Subsonic and supersonic flows around airfoils and wings. Two-dimensional, incompressible boundary layers. Introduction to computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Aerodynamic design considerations.
Letter grade only (A-F). Projects are assigned and written reports are required. (Lecture-problems 3 hours).
