C E 553 - Behavior and Design of Steel Structures

(3 units)

Prerequisite: Open to Civil Engineering MS and Engineering MS students only.
Study of torsion, unsymmetrical bending, stability. Plastic design, code provisions and commentary. Design of complete structural systems in steel.

Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture‑Problems 3 hours).
