ART 355 - Enameling (3 units)
Prerequisites: ART 130 , ART 131 ; AH 111A , AH 111B . ART majors, Pre-Art BFA majors, Pre-Studio Art BA majors, and Pre-Art 3-D Media BFA majors only. Freshmen excluded. Techniques, materials, and concepts of enameling on metals. Introduction to tools and metalworking techniques associated with making enameled metal objects. Emphasis on exploration of characteristics of enamels and metals, stressing individual advancement of interest and expression.
Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. (6 hrs. lab.) May be repeated to a maximum of 6 units. Not open for credit to students with credit in ART 355A.
