AH 524 - High Renaissance Art in Italy (3 units)
Prerequisites: Graduate standing in Art or Art History, or consent of instructor. Examination of sixteenth-century Italian painting, sculpture, and architecture, emphasizing that of Florence, Venice, and Rome. Historical, cultural, religious, and theoretical framework. Special attention to works by a handful of major artists (Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, and the Mannerists).
