NRSG 650A - Pediatric Clinical Studies for Advanced Practice Nursing I

(4 units)

Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in NRSG 510 , NRSG 520 , NRSG 530 , NRSG 530A , NRSG 540 , NRSG 550 , NRSG 560 , and NRSG 596 .  Open to students admitted to the PNP program or with consent of instructor.
Corequisites:  NRSG 650  and NRSG 650B .
First clinical course of Pediatric Primary Care nurse practitioner program. Emphasis on application of theory to preventative health care, management of well child and common pediatric problems.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. (clinical process 4 hours) Not open for credit to students with credit in NRSG 684A.
