NRSG 550 - Human Diversity and Psychosocial Issues in Health Care for Advanced Practice Nursing

(2 units)

Prerequisites: Admission to graduate nursing program or consent of instructor.
Focus on advanced practice nursing roles in providing culturallyappropriate care to individuals, families, groups, and communities with diverse backgrounds. Patterns of human interaction that influence health and quality of life are analyzed. Contemporary issues in diversity are explored.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. (Lecture-Discussion)
