NRSG 641A - Psychiatric-Mental Health Clinical Studies for Adults for Advanced Practice Nursing I

Prerequisites: A grade of “C” or better in NRSG 510 , NRSG 520 , NRSG 530 , NRSG 530A , NRSG 540 , NRSG 550 , NRSG 560 , and NRSG 596 . Open to students admitted to the PMHNP program or with consent of the instructor.
Corequisite: NRSG 641  and NRSG 641B .  
First clinical course for psychiatric nurse practitioner students that focuses on application of mental health concepts in adult patients. Theories from prerequisite and concurrent courses are applied and tested.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. (clinical process 4 hours) Not open for credit to students with credit in NRSG 689A.
