JOUR 110 - Mass Media and Society

Prerequisite/Corequisite: One GE Foundation.

Origins, development and contemporary role of newspapers, magazines, radio, television, books, new media and films, and such related fields as advertising and public relations.

Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture/Discussion 3 hours)
