EDSE 436 - Curriculum, Instruction, Assessment and Classroom Management

(3 units)

Prerequisite: EDSS 300A-S ; and admission in the Single Subject Credential Program; or consent of the University Coordinator of the Single Subject Credential Program. Required course in the Single Subject Credential Program.
Explores systematic instruction, theories of learning, curriculum development, teaching strategies, assessment and evaluation of student progress, classroom management and discipline, and establishing successful learning environments for all students.

Letter grade only (A-F). Fifteen hour fieldwork requirement. Course fee may be required. May be repeated to a maximum of 6 units.
