Introduction to the discipline of illustration (commissioned art), emphasizing editorial illustration, providing insight into the illustrator’s role as visual dramatist and focusing on assignments exploring conceptual issues while developing technical skills (primarily black and white media).
Letter grade only (A-F) Course fee may be required. (6 hrs. lab.)
