HFHM 475 - Managing Events in the Hospitality Industry (3) units
Prerequisites: HFHM 276. This course focuses on the techniques, processes, implementation, design, and business planning to successfully produce and manage events in the hospitality industry. Developing budgets, publicity, advertising, registering guests, staging, lighting, and food and beverage services are included.
Letter Grade only (A-F). (2 hours discussion, 3 hours laboratory). Required to participate in specific events outside of scheduled class time.
