PHYS 510 - Graduate Mechanics

Prerequisite: PHYS 310 .
Variational principles, Lagrange’s equations, Hamilton’s equations, canonical transformations, Hamilton-Jacobi theory, relativistic mechanics and small oscillation theory.

Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture 4 hrs.)
