NRSG 640A - Psychiatric-Mental Health Across the Lifespan Clinical Studies for Advanced Practice Nursing I

(3 units)

Prerequisites: Admission to graduate nursing program and NRSG 510 , NRSG 520 , NRSG 530 , NRSG 530L , NRSG 540 , NRSG 550 , NRSG 560  and NRSG 596 , or consent of instructor.
Corequisites: NRSG 640 , NRSG 643 .
First clinical practicum for PMHNP students that focuses on application of mental health concepts in laboratory based clinical situations. Theories from prerequisite and concurrent courses are applied and tested.

Credit/No credit grading only. Course fee may be required. (Laboratory 9 hours). Not open for credit to students with credit in NRSG 688A.
