NRSG 502 - Genetics in Nursing Practice (3 units)
Prerequisites: Senior standing or graduate standing or consent of instructor. Overview of genetics implications for nurses as they provide health services to clients of all ages, diverse ethnic, cultural, life-style and geographic areas. Explores basic mechanisms of genetic inheritance and impact that genetics has on health promotion, disease prevention and policy implications.
Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required.
