NRSG 451 - Nursing Leadership and Management

(2 units)

Prerequisites: NRSG 400, NRSG 402 .
Corequisites: NRSG 450 , NRSG 452  or NRSG 453  or NRSG 454 . Satisfactory level ATI testing including remediation as appropriate.
Principles of leadership and management as they apply to front line management positions in healthcare. Emphasis on understanding role and responsibilities of professional nurse as leader and manager of patient care services within a variety of settings.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. (Lecture-Discussion). Not open for credit to students with credit in NRSG 450L.
