MAE 475 - Fundamentals of Robotics (3 units)
Prerequisites: MAE 376 or MAE 381 with a grade of “C” or better; upper-division standing or consent of instructor. Robot modeling and control design techniques. Topics include rigid motion and transformations, forward and inverse kinematics, path planning and trajectory generation, forward and inverse dynamics, robot control design, and sensors and actuators commonly used in robotics.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture-problems 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours) Not repeatable for credit.
