COMM 492 - Internship

Prerequisites: COMM majors and minors of junior or senior standing only. Students must secure their own internships before enrolling in COMM 492.
Students apply communication theory and practice in real-world organizations through internships across diverse industries. With their communication-related internships, students engage in supervised work while completing academic assignments that further develop their knowledge of workplace dynamics, professional competencies, and ethical communication.

Credit / No Credit only. Internships must consist of at least 120 hours with cooperating organizations on or off campus and must begin or end during the semester in which COMM 492 is taken. Not repeatable for credit.
