TRST 553 - Audiovisual Translation: Dubbing

Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
This course explores the theory and practice of dubbing, covering key technical, linguistic, and semiotic aspects of script adaptation for screen media, and examining professional workflows, synchrony requirements, and the impact of emerging AI tools used in major dubbing studios worldwide.
