SOC 333 - The Sociology of Sport

Prerequisites: GE Foundation and/or SOC 100. Completion of at least 60 units.
This course applies sociological theories to the study of sport. The course will examine a number of topics across the semester, including: Social Activism and Sport, Race & Gender, Capitalism and Politics, Amateurism, and the Global Game.

Both grading options. Not repeatable for credit.
