NUTR 460 - Child and Adolescent Nutrition

Prerequisite: NUTR 132.
Family, peer, media influences on eating behaviors and risk factors promoting chronic disease. Evaluating nutrition education standards for school curricula and school meals. Testing readability level of materials. Contrasting dietary guidelines with nutrient composition of popular fast-foods. Self-directed assignments.
