GLST 150 - Global Cinema and The Urban Imagination

Prerequisite(s): Completion of one Foundation course.

This course examines global urban culture through cinema, using interdisciplinary approaches. Students analyze how films portray cities as sites of memory, power, longing, injustice, and hope, while engaging themes of migration, gentrification, racialized space, and utopian or dystopian futures.

Both grading options. Not repeatable for credit.
