HCA 419 - Healthcare Database Management

Prerequisites: GE Foundations. Open to Health Care Administration majors or pre-majors in the general or data analytics options, as well as students pursing the Healthcare Data Analytics certificate. 
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): HCA 416.

The management of data within a database system to support healthcare management decision making. Principles and methods of data structure, content, and information governance, such as analyzing strategies and examine health informatics concepts for the management of health information.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for credit.
