Prerequisite(s): Music Education Majors only; MUS 141B with a “C” grade or better and MUS 142B with a “C” grade or better, or

Prerequisite/Corequisites: MUS 240 or MUS 341.
Introduction to the principles and techniques of conducting large ensembles.

A. Conducting for Music Educator - Choral

B. Conducting for Music Educator - Instrumental

Letter grade only (A-F). A grade of “C” or better is required in this course to earn the degree. (1 hour lecture, 2 hours lab) May be repeated to a maximum of 4 units with different topics. Topics announced in the Schedule of Classes.
