SOC 427 - Social Movements and Activism

Prerequisite: Upper-Division standing.
Sociological analysis of social movements and activism from a historical and contemporary perspective. Emphasizes the ways that activists navigate political, economic and cultural contexts in order to affect social change through social movements or other modes of resistance.
