KIN 568 - Nutrition for Exercise, Health, and Performance

Prerequisites: KIN 301 or equivalent for KIN graduate students. BIOL 207 or equivalent for NUTR graduate students. Open to graduate Kinesiology and Nutrition students and/or with consent of instructor.
Explores the role nutrients play in exercise, health and performance enhancement. Topics include evaluation of energy needs during physical activity, examination of weight management practices, assessment of nutritional status, and investigation of contemporary dietary issues related to exercise.

Letter grade only (A-F). Same course as NUTR 568. Not open for credit to students with credit in NUTR 568. Same course as NUTR 568 . Not open for credit to students with credit in KIN 568. Open to graduate Kinesiology and Nutrition students and/or with consent of instructor.
