HIST 437 - Modern Germany and the World

German history from an early nineteenth-century idea through the emergence of nineteenth- and twentieth-century national states.  It includes the World Wars, the Weimar Republic, Nazism, the Cold War, and Reunification, as well as migration and global German communities.
