GEOG 400 - Spatial Data Science (4 units)
Prerequisite: GEOG 200 or STAT 108 or PSY 110 or BIOL 260 or HDEV 190 or SOC 170 or consent of instructor. Study of advanced methods for analyzing spatial data and phenomena, with an emphasis on quantitative and computational approaches in geography. Topics include multivariate statistical techniques, spatial modeling, and machine learning methods for geographic analysis. Students will gain hands-on experience applying these techniques to real-world spatial datasets using programming and statistical software.
