CINE 375 - Producing and the Business of Television

Prerequisite(s): CINE Producing or CINE Screenwriting sub-plan or CINE Minor; Completion of GE Foundation courses with a “C” or better; Junior or Senior standing.
Examines the TV producer’s role as business leader as well as creator of programming concepts. Topics include program development and positioning, sales presentations, ratings, entertainment law, rights and licensing, negotiating, agents, and labor issues.

Letter grade only (A-F). Not repeatable for additional credit. Not available for additional credit for students with existing credit in FEA 375.
