EDEL 380 - Teaching and Learning in a Democratic Society

(3 units)

Prerequisite(s): Students must have a valid Certificate of Clearance and proof of a negative TB test to begin clinical practice hours in this course.
Professional, historical, social, philosophical, legal, and political concepts and issues related to K-8 education in contemporary society.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. Required prerequisite for admission to the Multiple Subject Credential Program. 20 hours structured practice in approved elementary, self-contained classroom required.
