EDEL 200 - Introduction to the Teaching Profession

(3 units)

Students must have a valid Certificate of Clearance and proof of a negative TB test to begin clinical practice hours in this course. 
Introduction to the concepts and issues related to K-8 education in a democratic society.

Letter grade only (A-F). Course fee may be required. Minimum 20 hours structured Clinical Practice Hours in approved elementary, self-contained classroom required. A grade of “B” or better required for admission to the Multiple Subject Credential Program.
