E E 211 - Electric Circuits
(3 units)
Prerequisites: (E E 210 /E E 210L or PHYS 152 ) and (MATH 123 or equivalent) all with a grade of “C” or better.
Linear circuit analysis techniques including circuit transformations, mesh, and node analyses. Thevenin’s, Norton’s, Superposition, and Maximum Power Transfer theorems. Introduction to Operational Amplifiers. Transient analysis of RL, RC and RLC circuits. Phasors. Power concepts.
Letter grade only (A-F). (Lecture-problems 3 hours)
