COMM 441 - Issues in Freedom of Communication

Prerequisites: Upper division standing and GE Foundation requirements, and at least two GE Exploration courses. Recommended COMM 331 or COMM 335 .
Explore the evolution of First Amendment rights in American society. This course investigates landmark Supreme Court cases, the role of electronic media, and legal debates surrounding freedom of speech, press, religion, and assembly. Ideal for students interested in law and media.
