Prerequisite: Upper-division standing
Explores Chicanx/Latinx performance through intersectional identities including race, gender, and sexuality. Examines historical roots, key figures, texts, media, and social, cultural, and political issues through analysis of Chicanx/Latinx performance from Pre-Cuauhtemoc to contemporary theater, ritual, spoken word, and performing arts.
Both grading options.
