Elements of clear, straight, orderly and valid thought, including deductive and inductive reasoning and the accurate use of language. Explores practical applications of logic.

PHIL 370 - Rationality and Decisions (3 units)
Prerequisite: PHIL 170 or PSY 130 or I S 100 or CECS 100 or COMM 131 ; Intermediate Algebra. The study of formal techniques from mathematics, symbolic logic, probability theory, statistics, and game theory as they relate to normative theories of rationality and decision-making.
