This minor offers an interdisciplinary study of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Interested students should contact the program’s advisor prior to or during the first semester of taking classes toward the minor. These requirements may be counted, where applicable, toward the General Education requirements, the major, and minor.
The program consists of 18 units selected in consultation with the program advisor in addition to three semesters (or equivalent) of foreign language study. The 18 units include 9 units of core classes in History, Literature, and Art History and 9 electives from at least two departments of study (departments may be the same as those for core classes).
