This degree prepares students who will eventually seek a master’s degree or a position as a professional designer. The BFA program is a rigorous and competitive one. Portfolios are reviewed in the spring semester for fall admission to Junior standing in this degree program.
Applicants to the BFA program must receive a positive recommendation following review of a portfolio submitted by the applicant. For BFA portfolio review consideration, a student must be enrolled in or have successfully completed DESN 230 , DESN 245 , DESN 312 and DESN 340 with a “C” or better.
