Business Administration, Option in Accountancy, B.S. + Accountancy, M.S.


Students in the Beach EDGE Accountancy program will complete the requirements for both the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Option in Accountancy, and the Master of Science in Accountancy.

Eligibility and Admissions to Beach EDGE Programs in Accountancy

Minimum Admissions Requirements

  1. Are a matriculated undergraduate student at CSULB
  2. Completed 60 units (upper division status)
  3. Met their major specific requirements
  4. Has an overall CSULB GPA of 3.0
  5. Earned ‘B’ or better in Accountancy option courses
    • A student can apply based on an anticipated grade, but in that case, admissions decisions will be delayed until the semester is over, and the final grades can be verified.

Application Requirements

  1. Beach EDGE Application Form
  2. A Statement of Purpose
  3. CSULB unofficial transcripts
  4. Two recommendations from CSULB Accountancy faculty

Deadlines to Apply

  • November 1st (for potential enrollment beginning in the upcoming spring semester)
  • June 1st (for potential enrollment beginning in the upcoming fall semester)

Double-Counting of Courses

Accountancy Beach EDGE students may double-count 8 units of M.S. courses (2 courses) toward both degrees.

These courses must be completed in residence at CSULB.
