Economics, Option in Mathematical Economics and Economic Theory, B.S. + Economics, M.A.

Students in the Beach EDGE Economics, Mathematical Economics and Economic Theory Option, B.S.+ Economics, M.A. program will complete the requirements for both the B.S. in Economics, Mathematical Economics and Economic Theory Option, and M.A. in Economics.

Double-Counting of Courses

Beach EDGE students in Economics, Mathematical Economics and Economic Theory Option, B.S.+ Economics, M.A. may double-count 10 units of M.A. courses for both their B.S. and M.A. degrees. These 10 units must be completed in residence at CSULB.

Students can use the following three graduate-level courses to double-count for B.S. and M.A.:

• ECON 510 - Advanced Microeconomics   
• ECON 585 - Econometrics I   
• ECON 587 - Research Methods in Economics
