Linguistics with Option in Translation Studies, B.A. + Linguistics, M.A.

Students in the Beach EDGE Linguistics (Translation Studies Option) program will complete the requirements for both the B.A. and M.A. in Linguistics.  

Beach EDGE students in Linguistics may double-count 9 M.A. units towards both their B.A. and M.A. degrees. These 9 units must be completed in residence at CSULB.

• Linguistics, General Linguistics Option, M.A.

Students can choose three of the following graduate-level core courses to double-count for B.A. and M.A.

• LING 596 - Quantitative Research Methods   
• LING 610 - Historical Linguistics   
• LING 620 - Seminar in Syntactic Theory and Analysis   
• LING 625 - Seminar in Phonetics and Phonology   
• LING 650 - Seminar in Bilingualism
