Consumer Affairs, B.A. + Gerontology, M.S.

Students in the Beach EDGE Consumer Affairs + Gerontology program will complete the requirements for both the B.A. in Consumer Affairs and M.S. in Gerontology.  

Beach EDGE students in Consumer Affairs + Gerontology may double-count 9-M.S. units towards both their B.A. and M.S. degrees. These 9 units must be completed in residence at CSULB.

Double-Counting of Courses

Beach EDGE students in Consumer Affairs + Gerontology may double-count the following courses towards both their B.A. and M.S. degrees.

• GERN 520 - Personal Finance for the Aging   
• GERN 592 - Internship in Family and Consumer Sciences/Gerontology   
• CAFF 307 - Crimes against Consumers  ​ (same course as CRIM 307)
