Note:
Beginning Fall 2024, the Health Care Administration B.S. will follow a new curriculum pattern. Changes to these major specific prerequisites will be altered in 2024 to remove BIOL 205, BIOL 207, BIOL 208, and BIOL 211. Students who begin their first year in Fall 2023 will be directed by academic advisors to take courses under the new curriculum pattern. The curriculum listed below ends prior to the Fall 2024 semester and is only accurate for Fall 2023 transfer students and students in their third or fourth year in Fall 2023. Please contact academic advising or the department staff if you have any questions.
1. All students must complete a minimum of 13-14 semester units
All students must complete a minimum of 13-14 semester units or the equivalent in prerequisite preparatory course for the major:
2. Computer proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software is expected.
3. Overall grade point average of 2.5 or higher
An overall grade point average of 2.5 or higher is required for entrance into the program. A minimum grade of “C” is required for each prerequisite course.

7. Each major course must be completed with a grade of “C” or better.

A course in which a grade lower than “C” is received must be retaken and successfully completed prior to enrolling in any course for which it is a prerequisite. A student receiving a grade lower than a “C” may proceed with other courses for which it is not a prerequisite with approval of the Undergraduate Advisor.
