EDSP 588 - Student Teaching: Extensive Support Needs

Prerequisite(s): Full admission to the Preliminary Education Specialist Credential or Intern Credential for Extensive Support Needs. Completion of credential program courses. Concurrent enrollment in UDCP 401 or EDSP 578 is permitted with program consent. Concurrent enrollment in EDSP 589 is required. Documented 200 hours of early clinical fieldwork with approved Student Teaching Application by deadline with a current negative TB test and a valid CTC Certificate of Clearance.
Traditional or intern student teaching for initial preliminary credential Extensive Support Needs (ESN) for minimum 14 weeks (400 hours). Support provided by a Master Teacher or Intern Provider and University Supervisor.

Credit / No Credit only. Course fee may be required. Student teaching for a minimum of 14 weeks (400 hours) required. Not repeatable for credit.
